Information Minister Hasan Mahmud has questioned the mental health of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. He said Mirza Fakhrul was in despair. He said this while addressing a discussion meeting on the day of mourning organized by Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance at the National Press Club in the capital on Thursday.
“The Awami League does not have the spirit of the liberation war,” Hasan Mahmud said in response to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s statement. He is speaking against the party that has led the country to independence. Putting the militants on both sides, meeting with them, he said that the Awami League does not have consciousness. My question is, what consciousness do they have? ‘
The information minister said, ‘He said these things while going to a rally of fake freedom fighters. This has raised questions in my mind about his (Fakhrul’s) mental health. It can be examined by Dab doctors. Because, in the statement that Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is giving lately, I really think that he needs a little health check-up. ‘
Regarding Bangabandhu, the minister said that Bangabandhu was assassinated while he was moving towards prosperity by reorganizing the country. Bangabandhu was assassinated with the joint cooperation of those who did not want the country, the Pakistani evil forces, those who fought for Pakistan. Bangabandhu could not realize his dream. But under the leadership of his daughter Sheikh Hasina, that dream has come a long way.
Mentioning that the country is moving forward, Hassan Mahmood said that those who do politics with the freedom fighters, who rejoice after the occupation of Afghanistan by the Taliban, do not like this progress. Those who do not like, they are in despair again.
