The movie ‘Chokh’ was released in about 36 theaters in the country on Friday. In the hope that the environment will improve in the next few months, the directors have also started the process of releasing new movies. Dozens of movie release schedules have been submitted to the Bangladesh Producers and Distributors Association in the next two months. Prasoon Rahman’s ‘Dhaka Dream’ and Rashed Palash’s ‘Padmapuran’ are in the release schedule on October 10. Anshuman Pratyush directed film ‘Baji’ imported from Kolkata and N Rashed Chowdhury’s ‘Chandrabati Kotha’ will be released on October 15.
Zahid Hossain’s ‘Chitmahal’ and Kajal Saha’s ‘Unreal Love’ are on the release list on December 3. The first episode of ‘Mission Extreme’ directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed will be released on the same day. Reza Hasmat’s ‘Jedi Meye’ and Gautam Ghosh’s imported film ‘Kalbela’ are on the release list on December 10.
Apart from this, even though the schedule has not been taken yet, it is being heard that half a dozen more such films will be released in November and December. Director Mustafizur Rahman Manik has prepared three films for release.
He said he wanted to release the film ‘Yao Pakhi Balo Tare’ at the end of November. After this, ‘Dreaming Princess’ will be released. He said that the movie ‘Ashirbad’ will be released on December 16.
