Yohani reported the incident on social media today. He writes, ‘An accident happened while doing a stage show. I was so engrossed in the song that I accidentally hit the guitar head hard. I like it a lot. I didn’t realize at first that the injury was so serious. ‘ Posting a picture of the scar near his eyes, Yohani further wrote, ‘What will happen to us today depends on our actions. Life goes on the way we go. As hard as we push, turn, fly or stop fighting, life takes a turn for the worse. But this wound helps us to understand our mistakes. Yohani said he was not stopping. He will sing in another concert in India. Tomorrow he has a live show at a coffee shop in Gachibowli area of Hyderabad.
Note that Yohani’s full name is Yohani Diloka de Silva. He was born in Sri Lanka. Father is an army officer and mother is an airman. Yohani studied logistics management. His song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ has gained immense popularity in India and Bangladesh besides Sri Lanka. In addition to directing melodies and music, Yohani also produces music. He has won multiple awards for his songs. In her home country of Sri Lanka, she is called Radhap Queen. He sang the title track of the recently released Bollywood film ‘Shiddat’.
