The president of the organization Babul Akter is from Barenga village. He taught at the government primary school in the neighboring village of Hijaldanga. Last year, a bamboo bridge was built over the Harihar River to connect Barenga village with Altapol village. The members of the Student Welfare Association sat down with the elders of the village and decided that the bridge would be built with the help of all. The bridge is made of bamboo from the villagers. It is nine kilometers from Barenga to Keshabpur. Due to the bridge, the distance was reduced to six kilometers.
