Eid Jamaat in Barisal following the hygiene rules, prayers for tax exemption

The holy Eid-ul-Azhar prayers have been held in Barisal following the hygiene rules. Congregations are held in different mosques of the city from 7 to 9 in the morning. The second congregation was held in many mosques to avoid crowds.

At eight o’clock in the morning, the city’s Collectorate Jame Mosque took part in the Eid Jamaat Divisional Commissioner. Saiful Hasan, Deputy Commissioner Jasim Uddin Haider and other senior officials of the administration. After the prayers, the divisional commissioner and deputy commissioner gave a directional message to the people on behalf of the state. Later, special prayers were offered for the liberation of Corona and for the welfare of the country and the nation.

Due to corona infection, the main congregation was not held at Hemayet Uddin Central Eidgah on Banda Road in Eid-ul-Azha Nagar in Barisal again. Every year the City Corporation organizes Eid Jamaat here. But due to corona infection, it was not organized like last Eid.

The largest Eid congregation of the department was held at 8 am at Charmonai Darbar Sharif ground in Barisal Sadar upazila. The second largest Eid Jamaat was held at Charchina Darbar Sharif ground in Pirojpur at 8.30 am. One of the largest congregations of Eid was held at NS Kamil Madrasa ground in Jhalokati at 8 am. Eid Jamaat was held at Hazrat Yaruddin Khalifa (RA) Darbar Sharif Maidan in Mirzaganj, Patuakhali at 8 am. Eid Jamaat was held at Baitul Aman Jame Mosque Complex and Eidgah Maidan in Guthia of Wazirpur in Barisal district at 8 am.

Besides, the first congregation was held at Ebadullah Mosque at Chawkbazar at 8 am and the second at 9 am, the second congregation was held at 8 and 9 am at Jame Butcher Mosque on Hemayet Uddin Road and the second congregation was held at 7:30 am and 8:30 am at Baitul Mukarram Jame Mosque on Sadar Road. Eid Jamaat was held at Police Lines Jame Mosque at 8 am and at Central Jail Jame Mosque at 7 am.
