Johnny García’s Arena Titanes was the setting to receive the Grand Final of the Veterans Rodeo Circuit, the Saltillo public met with an extraordinary entrance and enjoyed the competition between experienced athletes representing different parts of the country.
More than 15 riders returned to the ring to face the powerful bulls of Livestock 11.
Coahuila, Puebla, Guanajuato, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Durango, and Aguascalientes had representatives in the contest, being one of the rodeos that has managed to gather the most exponents in the last year.
From the first round to the grand finale, Adán Esparza (Durango) excelled when facing the fearsome beasts. Esparza was crowned the great champion of the National Final , presenting perfect scores in each of the rounds of the complicated tournament. On the other hand, Jorge Rodríguez (Saltillo) took the gold in the consistency department, being the best scored by judge Oscar Galindo.
Gerardo Bonilla organized the prestigious competition, with athletes ranging from 40 to 62 years old and a wide experience in extreme sports. The circuit will return around March 2022 and it is expected to increase the number of national contenders in search of the best veteran rider.
