The border Camilo Ríos has already qualified for the finals of the National Rodeo Championship in its 2021 edition, in the youth category. The event takes place in Chihuahua.
This Wednesday there were only preliminary activities and slacks to accommodate the final rounds, which will be on Saturday and Sunday at the Arena Del Complejo De Ávalos.
Ríos, who studies in Nebraska and trains there for the calf lasso luck, will be one of our state’s representatives in the finals on Saturday morning.
It should be remembered that this event hosts both national events, 2020 and 2021, because last year it could not be carried out. Ríos is not in 2021 because he is no longer competing in Mexico.
The actions of Wednesday began with the luck of flattened steers, both in the free category and in veterans. Likewise, the barrel race, the luck that has more participants in the open category - a total of 32 - also began its actions in the 2021 championship.
For now, several Chihuahuas are already installed in the barrel race slacks this Friday, such as Evelyn García, Andrea Gamboa, Luisa Herrera, Natalia Loya, Paulina Ochoa, who is on FMR Tour, and Brenda Trevizo, among 46 participants who They will look for the final on Sunday.
This Thursday the final accommodation slacks for the children’s and youth categories continue, but the Mexican Rodeo Federation is expected to announce the final starting lists for Saturday.
