It’s often not a good guess, and the last nanosecond plane ticket equals a stipend and around the palm, but that was the case on March 12 with bareback rider Wyatt Denny.
No stranger to the winning circle, Denny rampaged through the desert at the Parada del Sol Rodeo in Scottsdale, Arizona, winning with an 83-point lift on the Salt River Rodeo’s Captain Hook. The rodeo ended on March 13th.
First, he didn’t go in, Danny’s spring diary changed at the last nanosecond when he went in as a baton. He bought a plane ticket, got in a pair with a horse, and rode up to a palm tree.
“Captain Hook is a really good amount, a good opponent, and the bone you can go for always wins,” said Denny, 26.
Danny had a feeling that if he could ride Captain Hook, he could win the round. His guess turned out to be correct. Added $ to his earnings in 2022 and good instigation.
Every good comeback story needs investment. In rodeo, especially on the rough side, physical misses are not uncommon. After undergoing hipster surgery and having to miss nearly all of the 2020 season, 2015 PRCA Resistol Riding Bareback Rookie of the Year said he feels better now.
